Import contacts and guest lists
Spreadsheets, guest lists and exports from other tools.
- Go to Contacts → Import contacts (people who came to your events) or Import leads (people you're talking to).
- Upload a CSV. Crustomer guesses which column is which; check the matches and fix any it got wrong.
- Pick where they came from (it becomes a tag you can filter by) and import.
People already in your list are matched by email, phone or Instagram, and their blanks are filled in instead of making a duplicate.
Texting permission
Contacts only get texting permission from a column that shows they opted in (like "SMS opt-in: yes"), or when you state where everyone in the file gave permission. Never import people for texting who didn't agree to it.
