Send products from your iPhone
Share any product page (Amazon, a store's app, Safari) straight into a project.
An iPhone Shortcut adds "Send to Crustomer" to the Share sheet. Share a product page, pick the project, and Crustomer saves the product with its name, price and photo. Pick "No project" to keep it in Work → Product lists → Shared to Crustomer for later. It takes about three minutes to set up once.
Set it up
- In Crustomer, open Settings → API keys and make a key called iPhone. Copy it (it starts with crsk_).
- On your iPhone, open the Shortcuts app, tap +, and name the shortcut Send to Crustomer.
- Tap the (i) at the bottom, turn on Show in Share Sheet, and set it to receive URLs and Safari web pages.
- Add Get Contents of URL. URL: https://crustomer.us/api/v1/share. Under Headers add Authorization with the value Bearer followed by a space and your key.
- Add Get Dictionary Value: get the value for projects. Then add Choose from List.
- Add another Get Contents of URL with the same URL and header. Set Method to POST and Request Body to JSON with two fields: url = Shortcut Input, and project = Chosen Item.
- Add Get Dictionary Value for message, then Show Notification. Done.
Use it
On any product page, tap Share, then Send to Crustomer, then the project. The product shows under the project's Files → Products. From there, Add to budget puts it in the budget as quantity × price.
Keep the key private: anyone with it can add to your workspace. If your phone is lost, turn the key off under Settings → API keys and make a new one.
