Text ghosts
People who ignore your texts are left out, so you don't pay to text them.
Texts can't tell you who opened them, so Crustomer watches who engages: a reply, a tap on the text's link, or coming to an event. The link in your text becomes a short crustomer.us link so taps can be counted.
Someone who does none of those after 10 texts in a row is a text ghost. Text queues leave them out unless you tick Include text ghosts, and Contacts can show or hide them. The moment they reply, tap or come out, they're back.
- Change the number under Settings → Texting → Text ghosts (3 to 50).
- See who they are: Contacts → Text ghosts → Only text ghosts.
Texts you send from your phone
Their answers come to your phone, so tell Crustomer: in the text queue's History, click "they replied" next to someone, or click "Mark who replied" and paste the numbers or names (or upload a CSV, like an export from another texting tool). Coming out counts too: import the event's guest list, even weeks later, and everyone on it is engaged for the texts sent before that event. The queue shows who replied, tapped and came out.
Replies are counted automatically once your own texting number sends the texts. Link taps count for texts you send from your phone too.
Still stuck? Write to hello@crustomer.us and a person answers.
