Schedule Instagram DMs
Write a DM now, send it later, within Instagram's rules.
Instagram lets apps send a DM only within 24 hours of the person's last message to you. Scheduled DMs follow that rule: at the time you pick, Crustomer sends it if their window is open. If it isn't, it waits for you in Follow-ups → Scheduled DMs with Copy & open.
- One person: in the Instagram inbox, write your reply and click Send later, then pick the time.
- A list: open an Instagram queue in Messages and set a time under Schedule. People whose window is open get it through Instagram; everyone else stays in the queue for you.
- Change your mind: cancel any scheduled DM from the conversation or from Follow-ups.
When it has to be sent by hand
At the time you picked, Crustomer emails you (the person who scheduled it; for a list, the workspace's alert email or its owners) with who's due and an Open and send button. It opens Follow-ups → Scheduled DMs, where each one has Copy & open: it copies the message and opens their Instagram chat, you paste and send, then tap Done. It works on your phone too.
Until Meta approves Crustomer for your account, every scheduled DM is sent by hand this way.
Still stuck? Write to hello@crustomer.us and a person answers.
